02 / AI course creation

Skip the course-design software. Build courses with your AI assistant.

Plug your own AI assistant into the OS LMS course editor. It designs to your template, writes from the documents you give it, and works through your experts' review with you.

Coming
1

Define your template

Set the layouts, look and question styles once, in your brand. Every course follows it.

2

Give each course its sources

Upload the documents for that course. The assistant writes the content from them and shows where each part came from.

3

Design together in the editor

Connect your assistant to OS LMS and build pages, knowledge checks and exams directly in the course editor.

4

Expert review, built in

Subject experts comment on the draft in place. Every comment is captured, answered and tracked until it's resolved.

06 / Set-up

Set it up your way.

With an AI assistant doing the heavy lifting, or on your own with a clear guide. You end up with the same secure site.

With AI assistance

Have a conversation

Open the project with an AI assistant and say where you'd like it to run. It explains each choice in plain words and does the set-up with you.

Do you want your data kept in the UK?
Yes please.
Done. Your database is in London. Next, which address should learners use?
On your own

Follow the guide

Prefer to do it yourself, or have your IT team do it? The install guide covers every step for Cloudflare, cloud providers and your own server.

Installing OS LMS

  1. Create the database
  2. Connect email for sign-in links
  3. Add file storage for logos and courses
  4. Create your administrator account
  5. Run the health check and go live
Either way it needsA databaseA web addressEmailFile storageIt won't run until each is in place and secure.
07 / Security and accessibility

Safe for your learners, wherever it runs.

Security doesn't depend on who hosts it. The same protections are built in on every installation.

Application securityOWASP ASVS Level 2

Built to Level 2 of the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard, the level recommended for most applications that handle personal data.

AccessibilityWCAG 2.2 AA

Every screen built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA, with automated checks as each one is made.

Data protectionYour region

Host it where you choose, so data can stay in the UK. Tools for UK GDPR requests (export, deletion and retention) are coming.

Secure by default

  • No passwords. People sign in with an emailed link that expires, and repeated attempts are slowed down.
  • No default accounts. Set-up refuses to go live until it's secure.
  • Least privilege. Nobody can grant more rights than they hold, and deactivated people are signed out at once.
  • Exams kept honest. Questions are drawn and marked on the server; right answers never reach the browser.
  • Content kept apart. SCORM packages run from a separate address, away from learners' accounts.
  • Strict browser protections and encrypted connections on every page.
  • A full audit log of every administrative action.
  • Checked on every change for known vulnerabilities and third-party licences.

Accessible to everyone

  • Keyboard throughout, with visible focus on every control.
  • Every drag has an alternative, by button and by keyboard.
  • Extra time or no time limit as a recorded reasonable adjustment.
  • Brand colours checked so text on buttons always contrasts enough to read.
  • Phones first, in light and dark.
  • Alt text required on course images.

"Built to" means OS LMS is designed and tested against these standards by its developers. It has not yet been independently certified.

08 / Get started

Be first to run it.
